"Illustrated with numerous reproductions of period prints, with fifteen plates, and also some photographed documents." 4to., original cloth lettered in gilt and red on spine and upper board, with dust wrapper and original slipcase. A near fine copy. The first English edition of this work on real tennis from French tennis player Albert de Luze, who was the leading French amateur player between 1903 and 1907, before retiring due to injury.
