Bel frais état (komplett u. guter frischer Zustand) Albert Flocon der mit bürgerlichem Namen Albert Mentzel hiess, geboren in Köpenick/ Berlin am 24. Mai 1909 starb in Paris im Oktober 1994 Schriftsteller und Künstler (speziell Graphik ) A. Flocon studierte ab 1928 zunächst am Bauhaus in Dessau unter der Leitung des Architekten Josef Albers. Er wechselte dann zu darstellenden Künsten (Tanz, Theater) der Bauhaus - Bühne bei Oskar Schlemmer, Mitwirkung im Bühnenkollektiv bis 1930. Floh vor dem Nationalsozialismus und emigrierte nach Frankreich. Im Jahre 1937 Mitarbeiter von Victor Vasarely. Ließ sich dauerhaft in Paris nieder ab 1945. Mit Johnny Friedlaender gründete er 1949 / 1950 (bis ca. 1952) eine Drucktechnik - Werkstatt, das Atelier de l'Ermitage.Er war der Freund des Philosophen Gaston Bachelard . Fasziniert von der Beziehung zwischen Kunst und Geometrie, trug seine Arbeit und seine Schriften viel bei für das Studium zur Erneuerung der Perspektive und vor allem der gekrümmten Perspektive ( Kurvenperspektive / kurvenlineare / curviligne) Der Schriftsteller Patrice Jeener der sein Schüler war, hatte großen Einfluss auf M. Mentzel fut l'élève d'Albers au Bauhaus, avant de fuir le nazisme et de s'installer à Paris. Il a également réalisé le Cirque animé au Père Castor.
