They spend their entire life trying to find the path of least resistance. What amazes me most is the fact that many Christians are assuming this same mental posture. Too often a crowd or herd mentality is embraced. No one wants to stand out as unique and bold, or fresh and daring. Too many sheep are being fleeced by uninspired orators. They can see ministers following the dollars instead of Christ. They see politics running rampant in the Church of the Living God and say nothing. When God calls upon them to have the AUDACITY to be a true believer and stand on a 'Thus saith the Lord' they kowtow, bow and fold like an old worn newspaper. As they walk away you can hear them echoing the words of the rich young ruler in the Bible. It's too hard. Things indeed may be too hard to us, but they are never too hard for God! If God is in you, have the AUDACITY to claim His power. Speak the truth boldly come what may. You are never alone. God will fight your battle. God does not whimper or sob in the face of adversity. He has AUDACITY! HE IS GOD! What frightens us, never frightens Him. He knows no fear. You must have the courage to stand up while others sit and speak up while other are silent. Will you have the AUDACITY to be a Christian when the entire world is going the other way Well, Will You.
