Souffrant, le peintre regrette de ne pouvoir venir à Paris pour la voir et prendre des nouvelles de M. Paquin. La douleur qui me tenait à mon dernier voyage a persisté, et je suis obligé de me reposer beaucoup. Je vais cependant un peu mieux et, dès que je pourrai risquer de monter en chemin de fer, jirai jusquà la rue Monsieur…Son épouse en tentant de la rencontrer rue de La Paix, a appris quelle cherchait une propriété aux environs de Paris .pour que le malade profite un peu de la fin de lété. Combien je serais heureux dapprendre que vous avez trouvé la propriété qui convient et que lamélioration persiste et surtout que mon ami Paquin se retrouve enfin espérant et optimiste.
