The boards are tight and flat, sunned spine and edges. Spine and corners not bumped. Lightly foxed and marked end papers. There is a pouch attached to the rear paste down with five maps and plans of caves. Name of previous owner on front paste down. The text block is illustrated throughout with black and white photos. The pages are tightly bound and staples have been used and there is rust on some of the Prelims and gusset by Introduction shows webbing from spine. A few pages have light foxing. No dedications etc. Good plus condition. No jacket. Rare edition.

Ivan Michler identified in colophon as the "redakteur," possibly from the Slovenian. The three original folding maps are still laid into their holder at rear and appear "near fine." This is a small-format German-language travel guide to the Postojna cave district northeast of Trieste (and, thus, southwest from Ljubljana, where this thing was published.)
