The typhoid fever distributed in Sulaimania city (Kurdistan region) during 2007 and 2008 in a high rate,… the results showed that (97.77%) of the isolates were Salmonella serotypes AO1, O2, and (2.22%) of the isolates were Salmonella serotype AO1, O4.According to the resistance of isolates to antibiotics, the isolates were classified into10 groups as antibiogram. All isolates showed high resistance rates for cotrimaxazol , chloramphenicol, amoxicillin, streptomycin and ampicillin. Plasmid analysis of two isolates showed that have (55, 20 and 5) Kb plasmid. Curing of antibiotic resistance genes using watery and alcoholic extracts for three medicinal plants: Quercus infectoria oliv. Cinnamomum zeylanicum and Linum usitatissimum (Flaxseed). 80 pp. Englisch.

Cette etude porte sur l'isolement de Salmonella typhi et Paratyphi a partir du sang de patients presentant des symptomes cliniques evocateurs d'une fievre enterique. La fievre typhoide s'est propagee a un taux eleve dans la ville de Sulaimania (region du Kurdistan) en 2007 et 2008; les resul…tats ont montre que 97,77 % des isolats etaient des serotypes AO1 et O2 de Salmonella, et que 2,22 % des isolats etaient des serotypes AO1 et O4 de Salmonella. En fonction de la resistance des isolats aux antibiotiques, ceux-ci ont ete classes en 10 groupes selon un antibiogramme. Tous les isolats ont presente des taux de resistance eleves au cotrimaxazole, au chloramphenicol, a l'amoxicilline, a la streptomycine et a l'ampicilline. L'analyse plasmidique de deux isolats a montre qu'ils possedaient des plasmides de 55, 20 et 5 kb. Elimination des genes de resistance aux antibiotiques a l'aide d'extraits aqueux et alcooliques de trois plantes medicinales: Quercus infectoria Oliv., Cinnamomum zeylanicum et Linum usitatissimum (graine de lin).
