Top and bottom of spine are frayed and corners worn bare. Paste-on picture has a few scratches and chipping at edges. Gilt lettering relatively good. Front hinge starting to crack but tight. Spine cracked between pages 196 and 197 but tight. Smudges here and there throughout and a few pages have tears at edges. No foxing and the four illustrations bright. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
