Draft script for an unproduced play. Based on the 1937 novel by Daniel Fuchs, about a small-town racketeer who suffers a mental breakdown when his turf is threatened by a ruthless, sinister gangster. The novel was later adapted into the 1947 film noir "The Gangster," with a screenplay written by Fuchs and Dalton Trumbo. Set in the fictional boardwalk town of Neptune Beach, Brooklyn. Tan titled wrappers, with a sticker for Rialto Service Bureau Typing and Mimeographing on the front wrapper.
