Rústica grapado. Condition: Bueno. 1st ed. 23x29.5. 149pp. 5h. Rústica grapado. This issue does not appear to state the year of publication anywhere (although with Vigía it is really impossible to say for certain that something is not included, as each publication offers so many places in which to hide any text or information.); we have taken the year from the 'Bibliografía de las Ediciones Vigía'. This issue is dedicated to 'Travel and the Body' and is illustrated with 'direct prints of the human body'. Judging by their appearance, they are prints made by photocopying parts of the body (a classic feature of office Christmas parties when things get out of hand) and some of them are images of great beauty featuring lips and fingers; there are also feet and faces and, of course, genitalia of both sexes are not missing. The cover is decorated with reproductions of train and plane tickets, etc., and features a headless angel mounted on hardboard and hand-illuminated. It includes texts by Digdora Alonso, Alfredo Zaldívar, Mabel R. Cuesta and Eugenio Montale; the scroll (20.5x100cm) is by the Argentine poet Alejandra Pizarnik. Some traces of foxing on the covers and interior. Number 23 of 200 copies. .
Condition: Bueno. 1st ed. 14.7x16.4. 53pp. 2h. Paperback with stapled binding and a glued dust jacket. The text is typewritten and reproduced by mimeograph on off-white paper. Like many of these early Vigía publications, the condition of the stencils and ink used leaves much to be desired, and some words are difficult to read. It is the first publication described in the Vigía bibliography ('Andar sobre la Luz', Vigía 2006) as a book rather than a plaquette. It really does have a completely atypical appearance amongst Vigía's publications: on the cover there is a photograph with the titles incorporated into the design, without any collage whatsoever. It is a design much closer to that of standard books, from which Vigía would increasingly move away. A print run of 300 copies, this one unnumbered. WorldCat lists numerous copies of the second edition (Ed. Matanzas 2002), but of this first edition, only one. Español. Paperback with stapled binding and a glued dust jacket.
Condition: Bueno. 1ª ed. 14.7x16.4. 53pp. 2h. (Ed. Matanzas 2002), pero de esta, solamente uno. Rústica grapado, con sobrecubierta pegada.
