Además de no encontrar ningún otro más piola,…dispondrá de una de las obras más auténticas que en materia de cultura netamente porteña ha producido nuestro país. Lo único lamentable, literariamente hablando, es la escasez de orfebres de este ejercicio artesanal que, antropológicamente, muestra el alma del hombre de esta fascinante ciudad y a la ciudad misma. Pero también debe decirse que los que aquí están bastan y que, en algunos, su gigantesca dimensión como personajes campea a la sagaz altura de sus versos. Leer estos sonetos plenos de ingenio, destreza, inventiva y agudeza poco común, significa asistir al despliegue pictórico de toda nuestra espiritualidad rea, del principal paisaje humano y verbal que tenemos como cosa exclusivamente propia, única en el mundo. A excepción de las novelas de Mujica Láinez y Joaquín Gómez Bas, en sus respectivos niveles, nuestro tiempo no dispone de otra imagen nacional tan geunina. Cuando los arqueólogos intelectuales del futuro buceen en nuestra literatura buscando su expresión fidedigna, incontestable, su patio de Monipodio, su Lazarillo, su Buscón, tendrán que acudir irremisiblemente al encuentro de la pluma esgrimida por estos singulares vates que vivieron a espaldas de las "academias" maniobradas por la intelligentzia local, con pleno conocimiento del combate y la gesta entablada en pro de una causa que sabían constituía la más profunda verdad argentina y que pese a su magnanimidad, les acarrearía la subestimación de aquellos que escriben falsamente, sin color, ni comunicación, ajenos a la esencia, el lenguaje y la policromía del pueblo y la calle. Luis Alposta, poeta él también de alto coturno y jugosa cepa lunfa -lástima que no haya incluido aquí su "Soneto a un malevo que no leyó Borges"- tuvo la feliz idea de reunir a estos monstruos del talento popular que se unen a los nombres de Fray Mocho, Félix Lima, Last Reason, Arlt y Diego Lucero que, en deslumbrante prosa (por lo menos para mi gusto) han ejercido una real cultura nacional, sin complejos ni influencias foráneas, lejos de escuelas cuyo oscurantismo sólo florece -¿y por cuánto tiempo?- en sus propias latitudes donde "la feria" da pa'todo; pero en nuestra pequeña aldea esos "estilos" a la "pálida" sólo sirven para que presenten quiebra las editoriales dejando en bandurria económica a aquellos escribas que -como sentencia Bioy Casares- escriben para ser leídos. Amasíjese entero con esta grandeza que sintética y esplendorosamente le ofrecen Julián Centeya, Juan Carlos LaMadrid, Giribaldi, Iván Diez, Pedrido, Yunque, Furlan, Olivari, De la Púa, Cele, Ganduglia, Vacarezza, Ferrer, Cadícamo y la sin par e increíble Nyda Cuniberti -una naifa de lujo para el lunfa- muchos de los cuales he podido conocer personalmente para gozar además de su vigorosa, pintoresca y deslumbrante personalidad. Gracias, pibe Alposta, por tus hallazgos y por recoger y blandir este distinguido oriflama cuya continuidad es tan importante como habernos manyado el mundial de fútbol a puro cuore y bravura criolla. ¡Ah! . .
