Additionally signed by Hall of Fame pitcher Don Drysdale. Drawing of Drysdale in pencil, with blue and red coloring. Fine. Overall, a striking piece. Don Drysdale spent his entire MLB career pitching for the Brooklyn/LA Dodgers. In his fantastic career, he earned nine All-Star selections, a Cy Young award (1962), and won three World Series titles (1959, 1963, and 1965). In 1968, he pitched 58 ? consecutive scoreless innings, which was a record until Orel Hershiser surpassed it in 1988. Drysdale was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984. James M. Amore is a noted sports and landscape artist who works in pencil and watercolor. Signed.
