Condition: Good. Light scuffs & scratches to the jacket. Faint marks to the edges of the textblock with foxing to the top edge. Content is in very good, clean condition.

Condition: Good. 1923. No Edition Remarks. 135 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrations. Clean pages and illustrations with light tanning. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Visible wear marks to boards.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Spine has a tiny split to the top end and is browned. Light browning to endpapers, owner inscription on the front free endpaper.

Hardcover. Condition: Poor. First Edition. Blue cloth covers with gilt lettering to spine. Rear cover has almost come away from spine and has been repaired inside with clear tape. Top part of ffep torn away. Date of author's death has been written next to his name on title page. Letter 'C' written next to many ships' names on contents page and in text - I think this denotes the previous owner has 'spotted' these ships. Internally tightly bound and all pages intact - excellent reading copy or for information. Wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and inserted into jiffy bag.
