Leather Bound. Condition: Very Good. Thi sis an original 1824 printing of this famous book. This old leather bound book is clean, solid, and in great shape! This is a hardcover book with 408 pages including many illustrations and fold-outs. The leather binding is strong with the covers and all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean and supple with some light foxing - no tears or chips. There are several fold-outs in the back illustrating various machinery and dyeing techniques. This 190 year old book is amazingly well preserved and in great condition - I can send photos on request. This is Volume I only. The covers are fully attached with no tears and the nameplate on the spine is still intact and readable.…
