This is the story of the adventures of a young Indian princess named Dilkusha who arrives at Storm Abbey, a school for girls. The book is bound to wartime Economy Standards in the original red cloth covered boards with black titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with some shelf wear and light soiling on the boards and a crease in the cloth running across the front board. The spine is faded and the spine ends are lightly bumped. The contents are tight and clean with a name and address written on the front free endpaper.
