DJ is toned and there's scuffing and spotting present. Edges show chipping with small tears present. Tan cloth boards underneath have always been covere…d by the jacket but there is quite a bit of foxing spots, mainly along the top half and spine. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. There is a bookplate present on the half title page with the original owner's name written on it. No other handwriting found, no library markings. Pages are a bit toned but are clean, the end pages and pastedowns show minor spotting and large areas of foxing, which is due to the paper reacting with the dust jacket over the decades. Stated first edition on the copyright page.
