Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 8vo, 38 pp. Saddle stapled in wraps. Very Good or better, wraps a tad toned, some light wear at edges; a handsome copy. Collects two of Schmidt's earlier self published accounts of his encounters with flying saucers. "Smitty" is the sort of folksy contactee-hustler (imprisoned for embezzlement, in fact) common to the late 1950s, but his tales of government interference in the lives of UFO experiencers, German-speaking aliens, and strange polar connections would come to prove quite prescient of where the literature would go. Schmidt would eventually be arrested and imprisoned a second time, for defrauding some elderly women; something to do with free energy crystals. OCLC locates only two holdings.
