Faint trace of foxing to a few plates, joints a bit weak but still holding well, covers a bent little hollow (property of the material), contents in excellent state. - .Published posthumously, the text completed by her colleague Mary Shaw. Note on verso of half-title: "Cet ouvrage a été publié aux frais de l'auteur et tiré à 300 exemplaires." Rare, obviously. - [phd.1044].

Couverture rigide. Condition: Très bon. Paris, Librairie des Sceinces Naturelles, Paul Kloncksieck, 1908, couverture catonnée de l'éditeur, dos de toile, environ 33 X 29 cm, 44 pages de texte suivies de 93 planches coloriées (dessinées par Mlles Trottet). La couverture est en bon état ; bien complète mais montrant tout de même un peu d'usure aux bordures et à la toile, une déchirure d'environ 10 cm à la charnière arrière dus dos mais qui a été réparée de belle façon. À l'intérieur l'ensemble du corps du livre est en excellent état sans rien à signaler qui soit digne de mention autre que quelques taches de rousseur occasionnelles aux planches. Les pages de garde sont fendues aux charnières (au niveau du papier) mais les filets intérieurs tiennent bon la reliure. Il s'agit d'un ancien exemplaire de bibliothèque avec un ex-libris collé au premier contre-plat et une petite inscription biffée au dos de la dernière planche. Un ouvrage rarissime.
