Strong and solid book, Light toning, Seems to be unread. Clean pages wit no marks. No splitting of the pages. Spine is fine Analysis of the Works of Nikolaj Gogol, West and East. Has been printed in new copies several times over the years. Gogol was born in Ukraine but lived most of his life in Sct. Petersburg, So a lot of contemporary dickussionS about his nationality. Anyway his influence on European literature is indisputable.
