Pictorial boards are fairly bright, with red pick-up truck and hippoptoami on yellow background. Rear has hippopotamus in a cage with onlookers. Grey spine is partially missing but book is still mostly tight. Full color illustrations inside are bright and clean and in Very Good or better condition. Prior owners name on FFEP. Anne Heyneman was born in San Francisco and was the author of "The Whosit Book" and "William Wigglewhistle" which she wrote with her husband, Hugh Kappel.
