Contro Alessandro GAVAZZI (Bologna 1809 -Roma 1889), barnabita, patriota ardente, predicatore popolarissimo in tutta Italia (anche in Piemonte per 10 anni; qui è chiamato ex-Padre Gavazzi), inviso ai Gesuiti, avverso a Gregorio XVI; esule in Inghilterra; dal 1859 di nuovo con Garibaldi, anticlericale e nostalgico della Chiesa primitiva, ma avverso ai Valdesi. Ma soprattutto contro don AMBROGIO che "dopo di essere andato a debaccare nelle piazze di Varallo, Suna, Vercelli, Livorno, Santhià, Moncalieri, Chieri, è pur comparso sul mercato della vicina Villanova" predicando con linguaggio da postribolo contro la confessione, il Purgatorio, i precetti ecc. Menziona anche don GRIGNASCHI falso profeta a Cimamulera, Altavilla d'Asti, Viarigi. Ottimo esemplare. Rarissimo, censito per ora (2024) solo a Asti Jesi, Modena.
