Hardcover. Condition: Good. Constance Haslewood (illustrator). 80 p. 22 cm. 80 chromolithographic illustrations. Peach cloth spine and pictorial paper-covered boards. Some wear and bumped corners. Ink signature on front endpaper. Small tear in title page and a little thumbing throughout. The book includes many well-known favourites like "Jack Sprat," "Little Miss Muffett," etc. but also some lesser known such as the marriage proposal on the last page. Haslewood's cute pictures depict magnificently dressed children of an earlier age.
