Signed by the author to , with inscription "To Vivyen Bremner, this book's godmother, who gave it its name.". Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Text block edges intensely foxed and dusty. Occasional intense foxing. Boards have some edge wear, with slight bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are moderately crushed and rubbed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Spine is heavily sunned. Book has a pronounced forward lean.
