Rare. L'informateur des aliénistes et des neurologistes parait à partir de 1925 sous le titre Hygiène mentale, en tant que supplément à l'Encéphale. Ces chroniques d'actualité, qui se veulent l'organe d'information à destination des aliénistes, ouvrent chacune sur le portrait d'une figure contemporaine s'étant illustrée dans le domaine des sciences neuro-psychologiques : Charles Vallon, Marandon de Montyel, Joseph Grasset, Ernest Dupré, Déjerine et sa femme, Gilbert Ballet, etc. Au tome IV (année 1909) se trouvent d'intéressantes reproductions des dessins d'un patient observé à Sainte-Anne ; "un sujet jeune, intelligent, doué d'un véritable tempérament artistique, atteint de cette forme de psychose dépressive, parfois dénommée en clinique mélancolie-suicide et qui a, du reste, justifié cette terminologie en réussissant ultérieurement à mettre fin à ses jours (.)" ; l'artiste produisit lors de son séjour une série de dessins satiriques, certains "intéressants par leur verve caricaturale et leur qualité d'exécution", accompagnés d'une table des matières fantaisiste qui en donne l'explication (Paul Keraval, t. IV, pp. 29-30). Sept planches, donnant 13 dessins de ce jeune talent dépressif, provenant de la collection du docteur Keraval, viennent ainsi illustrer le propos "De l'art chez les aliénés", occupant la rubrique "Variétés" dans 5 numéros. Nous sommes ici dans les prémices d'un intérêt, de la part de la communauté scientifique, pour l'"Art des aliénés", qui s'est manifesté deux ans auparavant avec la publication du docteur Paul Meunier (1873-1957), autrement dit Marcel Réja : L'Art chez les fous (Mercure de France, 1907). Le docteur Antheaume officia à Sainte-Anne dans le service de Valentin Magnan, puis à la Clinique des maladies mentales dirigée par Alix Joffroy. Il devient médecin suppléant de la Maison nationale de Charenton, puis médecin titulaire à partir de 1905, avant de fonder un sanatorium neuro-psychiatrique à Rueil, qu'il dirige jusqu'à sa mort. Il est l'un de ceux qui contribua, au début du XXe siècle, au rapprochement des aliénistes avec les neurologues. Simultanément à la publication de L'informateur, il reprend en 1906, avec Henri Claude et Maurice Klippel, l'édition de la revue L'Encéphale, journal de psychiatrie et de neurologie. Ses divers engagements auprès des amicales d'aliénistes font de lui l'un des porte-parole de la profession. Il fut un membre engagé de la Ligue d'hygiène mentale.
