Hardcover. Condition: Very good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First American Edition, First Pr. Octavo, 8 1/2" tall, xii + 435 pages, beige cloth. A very good, generally clean, neat hard cover edition with minor shelf wear over-all, but foxing) to the cloth edges; hinges and binding tight, paper lightly yellowed. In a good, moderately worn and soiled dust jacket, chipped at the fold edges, and with the price clipped.

No Jacket. 435 pp, the book and contents are clean and solid, the covers are tight and have very little wear or soil, 2 cover corners are bumped and 1 very lightly, the dust jacket has some sun fading and corner wear including a 3/4" closed tear on top left of front, this is a very solid and usable book.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1956 Viking 1st edition, Near Fine/VG DJ in Mylar, Dustjacket in Mylar with price intact, spine has lost most of it's orange color- lettering still readable, tiny rubs at spine ends & front corners, clean unmarked text, top edge of textblock dyed orange.

Condition: Good. - Octavo, gray cloth in a dust wrapper. The binding is bumped. The dust jacket is rubbed & chipped with light soiling to its rear panel. Its spine is faded with a tear to the head. xii & 435 pages. Good. First American edition.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First impression in lovely, bright condition with no inscriptions and clean pages throughout. The cloth red boards look fresh and the title lettering on the spine is nice and crisp. The dust jacket is very clean and still fairly bright albeit somewhat sun discoloured on the whiter areas and with light edge wear/creasing and the odd small closed tear, but not at all severe. Very presentable copy in all.
