Sergey Prokofiev: Diaries 1907-1914, Anthony Phillips, Faber & Faber, 2006, First Edition, First Impression Prokofiev was a compulsive diarist and smuggled his diaries out of Russia when he returned to Russia in 1927. This volume covers the bulk of Prokofiev's years at the St Petersburg Conservatoire, ending with his graduation. This is a First Edition, First Impression in near fine condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards are without issue. The illustrated end papers and pages are clean without tears or inscriptions. There are a few marks on the top and fore edge. The clipped dust jacket is in good condition with a crease to the top edge of the back cover and some slight shelf wear to the top and bottom edge of the spine. Will be dispatched wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box.
