A vintage guide to the environs of the Chalet-Hotel in Peclet-Polset (Pralognan La Vanoise - Savoie), a French resort area in the Alps, situated at an altitude of 2,500 meters. This brochure concentrates mainly on the walks, hikes, climbs and excursions (promenades et excursions) one can take to experience the beautiful Alps and the mountain scenery around the hotel. The last page of this brochure is a multi-page five panel fold-out in sepia tones that shows the panoramic view of the mountains from the hotel belvedere identifying several of the peaks with the one in the center being the Peclet-Folset mountain itself. Done by Cliché Rossignol. All the texts in the brochure are in French (en francais), and it is illustrated with vintage b/w photographs and a simple map. The rear outside cover has the stamped names of the prior owners: Eric Itor & Frida Kahn Collections. Not dated but probably from the 1920's or 30's, possibly earlier.
