Dissertazione relativa ad un oscuro passo di Cicerone in cui si fa riferimento alle depredazioni del pretore Verre in Sicilia il quale porto' via dal tempio di Minerva a Siracusa alcune 'aste d…i gramigna'. Secondo altre varianti del testo la parola 'gramineas', gramigna, andava sostituita con 'fraxineas', frassini, in modo da rendere appunto plausibile la presenza di aste di frassino. Secondo altri, invece, gramigna e' la lezione corretta. Le aste di gramigna sarebbero i pungiglioni dei quali si servivano i contadini per stimolare i buoi. ITA.
