Good paperback with well worn spine and creasing to binding, old clear tape "repair" on spine and hinge, signature are brittle as it is only a "perfect" binding, not sewn. 454p. Yellowish paper cover is cut larger than text and there is a fold over at fore-edge.

Das erste und äußerst seltene Werk des Salesianer- Missionars und Ethnografen Colbacchini. Beide erschienenen Teile in einem Band. In ausgezeichneter Ausstattung, auf Kunstdruckpapier und versehen mit einer sehr großen Zahl von Fotografien, gehört es zu den wichtigen Standardwerken der Bororo-Ethnologie. Erst 17 Jahre später, 1942, erschien die erste brasilianische Ausgabe auf portugiesisch, ' Os Bororos Orientais ', zusammen mit Cesar Albisetti, der Inhalt etwas anders geordnet, aber im Wesentlichen unverändert, ebenso die Fotos, auch sehr selten; auch (i.d.R.) in diesem Antiquariat zu bekommen.
