Having recently exchanged the factory floor and boardroom for a career as a free artist, she has shown her work in many exhibitions, most notably her retrospective at Kunsthalle Helsinki in 2017. She has continued this path in the summer 2021 at WAM Turku City Art Museum. Although Pentik's primary medium is clay, she also works with wood, which she carves and combines with her ceramic sculptures. Celebrating colour and light, her art is a meditation on themes such as growth, serenity, and joy. In Pentik's art, every ray of light is a ray of hope.
