From the personal collection of Anatole Forostenko (1939- ), US Government translator and negotiator assigned to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Johnson Space Center for the Apollo-Soyuz test project. In this capacity, Forostenko was responsible for teaching Russian to the Apollo, as well as serving as a liaison officer in an attempt to bridge the gap caused by the cultural differences existing between the two crews.
