Nella prima parte l'a. suggerisce un teatro ideale di tipo secentesco; la sala è a pianta semicircolare contornata da 5 ordini di palchi; nella polemica per la copertura della sala olimpica l'Arnaldi difese il progetto palladiano di una copertura a cassettoni. Rare and interesting study on the architecture of theatres. Published in Vincenza, where the famous Teatro Olimpico of Palladio can still be admired.
