    Cloth. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. 447pp plus 1 unnumbered errata page, 1896. Fair hardcover, in blue cloth, with printed floral decoration and gilt lettering. DEcorative endpapers. Cloth of the spine is entirely missing. All pages are present and none are torn or marked, though several groups of pages are detached in place (pages 107-110, 123-126, 177-200, and 347-350). All plates are present, some are in color and several are hand-colored. Dried plants are present between pages 56-57 and 160-161. Front and rear covers are cracked at the hinge but the covers are not detached. Corners and edges of the covers are worn. There is a row of 6 bleached spots on the rear cover. Frontis is present and loose but not detached. This is a scarce Imperial-era, Russian horticultural work. Dedicated to Czar Nicholas II. Ornamental pre-revolutionary typography, several chromolithographic plates. No handwriting or marks. Size: 4to - over 9? - 12" tall. Book.
