Softcover. Beige wraps with black lettering. 125+ plates. 52 bw mounted plates. An elegantly laid-out catalogue of 52 annotated works by thirteen miniaturists follows a section of artists' biographies. Each item is well-illustrated and thoroughly described. There is no indication of who published this or when it was published. Obviously privately published in a limited edition. The mounted illustrations are exquisite and very-well preserved. Internet references suggest the stated publisher and date. The collection catalogued is that of E.M. Hodgkins according to these sources. Text mostly clean and tight but with light sunning. Two bookplates inside front cover. Covers soiled and with chips and a small tear to front.
