Full Calf Leather. Condition: Good. First Edition. 20 Volumes Complete. All volumes are full mottled calf with gilt border with embedded bronze medal of Richelieu Card. Academiae Gallicae Fundator, MDCXXVI. on the front cover of all volumes (4 are missing this medal). Top edge gilt other edges untrimmed. Slight scuffing on some of the spines as well as tattered top and bottom edges. 'Jaqcueline' volume has torn spine that is unreadable. 5 volumes have a darker color to them black and tan versus brown and tan. All pages are present and in good, readable condition. Overall a GOOD set for someone who likes to read French literature in translation. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
