Édition originale ornée du portrait gravé de Dom Juste Guérin en frontispice.Seule source imprimée ancienne consacrée à l'évêque savoyard Juste Guérin (1577-1645), ancien barnabite de la congrégation de Milan qui "subjugué par le charisme de François de Sales" (Alessandra Torsello) établit trois chaires de théologie salésiennes en 1644 et 1645 à Turin, Annecy et Thonon. En 1639, il accepta le siège de Genève, en résidence à Annecy.
