Co., East Rutherford, N. J." printed on the back. Postcard is unused. Postcard is very clean and intact overall except for several small dots on the back, an indentation on the image appearing to have come from pen or similar object, and a small crease mostly limited to the bottom margin on front. A Very Good copy. This postcard shows the Old Clinton Inn at Dearborn, Michigan. The Clinton Inn was built in 1831 (or 1832) and was originally known as the Eagle Tavern. Eagle Tavern was popular place of lodging for travelers. The inn was renamed as Clinton Inn in 1927. Today, the inn retains its original name and is open to the public as a restaurant and museum.
