Mild water droplets to boards. Boards are mildly warped. Unclipped jacket has light edgewear with tears and creasing. Mild sunning to spine.

Corner cut from front free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is very heavily dulled. Some additional marks and staining.

Only slightest hint of thin line rubbing across top of spine; one place on front cover top edge where a finger caught the dw edge and bent it back with residual nugatory, aspiring curved crease; some intermittent minor, small spot purplish ink smudges to white of rear cover (perhaps incurred during manufacture of purple dw itself): Now in Brodart mylar, which forgives these insolent peccadilloes mightily. Solid copy. Appears Unread: tight binding, sharp corners, no rubbing wear, no previous owner names. Clean text.
