This tour included ninety-five South African and Rhodesian farmers along with their families who travelled to Great Britain in order to learn about European agriculture under the auspices of the South African National Union.A very scarce work.Edited by Arthur Canham, Late Trade Commissioner of the Union of South Africa.Containing numerous in-text illustrations.This copy was previously housed at the Board of Education Library, and contains library stamps to the frontispiece and title page.Containing a newspaper clipping about farmers of the empire bound in at the rear, dated March 23rd, 1928. Rebound in library cloth. Externally, smart, with some shelf wear to the boards and light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. A few marks to the boards. Library stamps to the frontispiece and title page, and a small library ink notation to the bottom of the title page. Internally, firmly bound. A few handling marks to the pages, which are otherwise bright and clean. Very Good. book.
