THE JACKET HAS BEEN TAPED TO THE INSIDE BOARDS AND THIS HAS YELLOWED. THERE IS A SMALL CARD POCKET AND PENNED MARK TO THE FRONT INSIDE BOARD. THE FRONT INSIDE HINGE HAS SPLIT AND THE BINDING IS EXPOSED. THE FFEP HAS A LARGE LIBRARY CARD AND YELLOWED TAPE TO IT. THE FIRST TWO PAGES ARE VERY LOOSELY ATTACHED TO THE BINDING. THERE IS A STAMP AND CARD POCKET TO THE REAR INSIDE PAGE ALONG WITH TAPE MARKS. THE REMAINDER OF THE BINDING IS TIGHT. PAGES GENERALLY APPEAR CLEAN AND CREASE FREE. ALL IN ALL A NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS BOOK.

There are very light small brown square marks (half inch by half inch) to the top and bottom right corner of page opposite inside front board and same to back opposite inside back board. The dust jacket is not price clipped with a lovely colour illustration of a harbour scene to front and back, barely worn. Very lovely drawings throughout by Leslie Atkinson.
