1/2 leather. Condition: Very Good. 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 284 pages; Octavo, half calf over marbled paper boards, gilt-lettered spine with gilt floral tools in compartments. With portrait frontispiece under tissue guard. Swedish translation by Ebba Atterbom, published during the author's lifetime. Grazia Deledda (18711936) , Nobel Prize laureate in Literature (1926) , was the first Italian woman so honored. Binding sound though rubbed, with notable wear to spine ends and a shelf bump top frot corners with small losses to leather and softening of the tips. Contents clean and bright. G++ to VG-.
