Boards heavily edge worn with cardboard showing on all edges, corners bumped, worn, and curled, backstrip cloth faded, worn and splitting, paper labels heavily flecked and worn, 60% missing from Vol 1 and 20% missing from Vol II. Volume I front hinge broken and hanging, interior foxed, lower corner title page torn off, cloth hanging at spine head, ad pages uncut, Volume II front hinge loose, rear starting, interior foxed.
