Framed. The letter, mounted onto card, is 25 by 19.5 cm. With frame, 34 by 27 cm. The text of the letter is written mostly in a neat, small cursive pen, with word emphasized in block capital letters, with decorative details added to the these letters such as striping and other calligraphic touches. It is 43 lines long, and there are lightly penciled lines presumably the author drew to keep the writing orderly. However, these lines are at a slight diagonal to the horizontal edges, it so happens. Surrounding the text are bands of colored ink decoration -- mostly blue and red, with the top band using red, yellow, and either black or dark brown.
