This is effectively the German edition and revision of Conway's Zermatt Pocket Book, with a statement in English to that effect by Conway at the start of the book. Conway's book was the first ever guide book to the Alps. Lorria was later also the author, with Oscar Eckenstein, of the Alpine Portfolio.
