Illustrations photographiques en noir et blanc. Signé par l'auteur en hommage au Lieutenant colonel Reverdy. Couverture souple défraîchie en cartonnage léger, petit manque 1 cm à la couverture en haut du dos. Petite perforation de 2 cm sur le premier plat se prolongeant sur deux pages. Intérieur bon état, quelques mots soulignés d'un fin trait rouge. A PROPOS DE L'OUVRAGE : Récit touristique agrémenté de descriptions architecturales et techniques du voyage effectué par Auguste Brion (1861-1940) architecte strasbourgeois, à bord du Gripsholm. Casablanca, Dakar, Trinidad, Carthagène, Panama, Cuba, Jamaïque, Martinique, Madère, Lisbonne. Le Grispholm, construit en 1925 pour la Swedish American Line, est le premier transatlantique à substituer le moteur diesel au vapeur à charbon. Dédicacé par l'auteur.
