Light toning towards page edges of the earlier volume and some foxing to title pages, rarely featuring thereafter. The later volume is in clean and bright order throughout. No marks or inscriptions. Red flecking to all block edges. Boards showing very light shelfwear, but otherwise in VG+ order, with gilt titling to spine. Error to spine date of second volume: 1847 rather than 1947. A handsome set, weighing c.4.5Kg.4to. i) xvi, 786pp + plates; ii) viii. 184pp.
