The book is in overall good condition with the exception of both inner hinges (front and rear) cracked and starting to split, with tears to the endpapers at the gutters; boards still firmly attached (please see last two pictures). The book is signed by Andrew L. Riker who is an Electric Vehicle Car pioneer. He formed the Riker Electric Motor Company in 1888. I'm not sure why his signature is in the book. It may have been his personal copy, or possibly helped with the writing or publication. The book is 257 pages long.
