Condition: Fair. 1943. First Edition. 255 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Blue cloth with black lettering to front and spine. Stamp of Maclaren Advertising Company Library to front pastedown; no other library markings. Light thumb marking, foxing and moderate tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Binding remains firm with subtle creasing to gutters and hinges. Text block edges very tanned with some dust marking. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild fraying and slight loss to corners; tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft splitting and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Uneven sunning overall.
