CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Minor edge wear, yapped edges with minor tears and wear. Interior is clean and tight. Overall near fine. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: The author served with the 1st New York Marine Artillery and participated in the Battle of Tranter's Creek, in North Carolina on the 5th of June for which he was awarded the Medal of Honor for actions while his regiment was part of the Burnside Expedition.
