Second edition ( no date or statement but with Preface to the Second Edition). 365 pp. with index. plus 5 pp. publisher's ads for similar subject books. An anti-socialist book with chapters such as "Materialist Doctrine of Socialism", "Origin of Socialism Opposed to Christianity", 'Morally Irresponsible", "Free Love" (surprise: the authors were against it), "Homeless Children" (".The children? Yes, poor things, no doubt there shall be a measly lot of them under the 'new regieme', but all shal;l be orphaned. The community is to be the father and the mother of them all."), etc. Obviously a Catholic Church-approved rant as the verso of the title page is imprinetd with the Nihil Obstat of the Censor Librorum and the Impramtur of the Archbishop of Boston.

Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book analyzes the arguments and evidence presented by leading international socialists to reveal the materialist and atheist basis of modern socialism. The author presents data from the writings and speeches of notable figures like Frederick Engels, George D. Herron, and Ernest Un…termann, demonstrating how socialism is rooted in the belief that economic conditions shape all human institutions, including religion. The book delves into the ethical implications of this materialism, showing how it rejects the concept of individual moral responsibility and presents a vision of a classless society where conventional notions of sin and crime are deemed irrelevant. Ultimately, this book exposes the deep-seated hostility between socialist philosophy and Christian beliefs, highlighting the irreconcilable differences in their respective worldviews. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
