Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Black and white photograph. Measuring 11" x 14". The photograph, taken by Japanese photographer Kan Azuma, depicts a blurred scene of a car driving down what appears to be a residential street, titled and dated beneath the image, *Erosion '1973',* as well as Signed by Azuma in marker. The verso with copyright information, and Signed in pencil. Photograph fully laid down to a foam core board. bumps and a few small nicks along the edges, just a bit of rubbing on the image, verso with a 2" section of surface loss, several surface abrasions, and some tape residue, very good overall, presents well in frame. Kan Azuma studied photography in Tokyo in the mid-60's before moving to Canada in 1970. Erosion, seen here as what would appear to be the photograph's title, is also the name of Azuma's most well celebrated series of work, featuring images from Point Pelee National Park and Lake Erie, Ontario, first shown in 1973 at York University in Toronto.
